Rome is a handsome, scruffy mix with a happy, playful personality and a big love for the outdoors. He’s dog‑friendly, kid‑friendly, and the kind of pup who thinks every day is a good day to explore.

Rome came back to us through no fault of his own. He was adopted by a couple who truly didn’t realize that puppies need training, structure, and daily exercise. At six months, Rome is strong, active, and very much a normal growing dog — and he simply needed more time and guidance than they were prepared to give.

So now he’s looking for a home that understands the deal: puppies don’t train themselves, and great dogs come from consistency, patience, and showing up for them. Rome is sweet, eager to learn, and absolutely worth the effort.
