Lead Off-Site Adoption Event Coordinator

PawSafe Animal Rescue is looking for an outgoing, people-loving, dog adoring human to lead our off-site adoption events throughout Connecticut. If you thrive in lively environments, enjoy talking to families, and want to help dogs find their perfect homes, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Pick up adoptable dogs and event supplies from our Eastford, CT rescue on
  Saturday mornings.

• Transport dogs safely to off-site adoption events at various Connecticut
  locations.

• Serve as the friendly, knowledgeable face of PawSafe at events — greeting
  visitors, answering questions, and sharing each dog’s story.

• Learn and use our adoption software to complete same-day adoptions.

• Make thoughtful, responsible matches between adopters and dogs.

• Work collaboratively with our amazing volunteers who assist at events.

• Return dogs and supplies to the shelter after the event wraps up.

What We’re Looking For

• A warm, outgoing communicator who enjoys engaging with the public.

• Someone comfortable handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments.

• A reliable, organized person who can manage event flow and keep things
  upbeat.

• Ability to learn simple software systems for processing adoptions.

• A team player who works well with volunteers and staff.
