Meet Maverick — a 94‑lb walking cotton ball who hopes you know a good groomer. At just 1.5 years old, he’s already perfected the art of being handsome and hilariously overgrown. His previous rescue called him a Great Pyrenees mix because of his thick coat and calm nature… but Google insists he’s a sheepdog. Honestly, at this point his true breed is buried somewhere under all that fluff and only a DNA test (or a pair of clippers) could tell us for sure.

Maverick is a gentle, friendly, easygoing guy who’s said to be housebroken, great with kids, and good with other dogs. He rides shotgun and takes life at a calm, steady pace- maybe that's because he can’t see through the bangs currently covering his eyes.

He’s overdue for a grooming, but don’t let the shaggy look fool you: underneath all that fur is a truly wonderful dog who just wants a family to love. If you’re ready for a sweet, steady companion with a built‑in sense of humor (and a future glow‑up), Maverick is your guy.
