Meet Lucy!
Headline: The Ultimate Family Cuddle Bug & Joyful Gentle Giant!

If you are looking for a massive heart wrapped in a gorgeous cream-colored coat, look no further than Lucy! At just over 2 years old and a sturdy 86 pounds, this Great Pyrenees mix is the perfect blend of a happy young dog and a soulful, loving companion.

Lucy is an absolute dream when it comes to people. She lives with five children (ranging from toddlers to teenagers) and adores them all. Strangers are just friends she hasn’t met yet, and she greets visitors with happy excitement. Are you looking for a snuggle buddy? Lucy would happily cuddle 24/7 if you let her. She is the ultimate morning dog, waking up every day completely overjoyed and happy just to see her human family.

The Model Citizen
Lucy is fully housebroken and has impeccable manners around resources. You can touch her while she’s eating, take away a bone, or pet her while she’s lounging on the couch, and all you’ll get is a happy tail wag. She is also an angel at the vet's office—calm, quiet, and friendly with the staff. While she isn't a fan of the crate, she can be left alone loose in the house completely trusted; she might bark for a few minutes when you leave, but she quickly settles down to wait for your return.

The Great Pyrenees Personality
Because Lucy is a Pyrenees mix, she comes with some classic, endearing (and independent!) breed traits. She has a strong instinct to protect her domain, which means she will bark to let you know what's going on outside. She also possesses that famous "Pyr stubbornness"—she likes to do things on her own timeline! She enjoys her daily walks but truly thrives when she has a large, securely fenced yard where she can patrol, dig, roll around in the grass, and just be a dog.

The Ideal Home
Lucy gets along great with other dogs, maintaining a polite, neutral attitude, and she would absolutely love to have a canine brother or sister in her new home to keep her company. Her perfect match is an adopter who understands or appreciates guardian breed tendencies, has a spacious fenced yard, and has plenty of room on the couch for an 86-pound lap dog.

If you're ready for endless affection, a cheerful companion, and the best cuddles of your life, Lucy is ready to meet you!
